Small Businesses Using AZ Fulfillment

AZ FULFILLMENT, an expanding business-

az fulfillment can help businesses small and large.  Third party logistics and az fulfillmentcan even help a small business grow into a larger business by allowing companies more space and resources to send their product to their customers.  Here are a few examples of everyday small-business owners contemplating az fulfillment services.

Considering starting her own az fulfillment, Karen Writes:

I have a small online business and ship every day.  Its craft supplies, sculpting supplies and such but since I am going to the post office every day, I have been thinking about adding az fulfillment services so that other small businesses, especially those just starting, don`t have to jump in their car every day to get to the post office too.  I am thinking small items, to be truthful, something like cds, dvds, books, vitamin supplements, things like that – even pet supplies.   Unlike many az fulfillment companies, who just toss your items into a huge box with 4 air bags, I inspect each item to see what is the best packaging method.  Even the post office has suggested that I give shipping/packing instructions!  So I guess, I am wondering if you all think the idea is possible?  Again, it would be located in my house till it grew to needing a warehouse. so only small items would be handled at first.  It would suppliment my business and give others the chance to have their items packaged and shipped every day.  Any and all advice, opinions are appreciated.

MOLLY REPLIES ABOUT STARTING YOUR OWN AZ FULFILLMENT BUSINESS:

Absolutely I believe your idea is possible. And, like with starting a new business, the three keys are planning, marketing and financial management. I recommend that you work up an informal business plan to help you think through and research all the aspects of this new service line.I do know that az fulfillment is one area that many small businesses outsource early in their growth process because it isn`t a core competency. If you start shipping larger quantities, you may be able to negotiate better rates on shipping and packaging as well. Keep us posted on your progress.
Karen’s response:
Thank you everyone for your advice.  Okay, so how do I get in touch with the small companies who would be interested in me doing their az fulfillment.?
Leslie Replies:
Hello Karen!
It is absolutely possible.  As a matter of fact, my friend (and the company I currently use to do my order fulfillment) started out the exact same way (in her home).  There is certainly a need with us small businesses who have outgrown our own kitchen tables, but don`t yet meet the criteria for and can`t afford the big dog`s services (like UPS supply chain solutions).  Yes the need is there.  I know my friend got much of her business from forums like this and going where inventors and small business owners hang out. I got to know and trust her on a forum and she`s been my 1 and only az fulfillment service ever since.  VERY best of luck!
Jeff writes:
It is definitely possible, you`ll have to source business locally. There is a person who sources goods from second hand shops and other places and sells them on Amazon. He is quite short on time. You need to find those who are pressed for time. On the other hand if your mainline of business is doing fairly well you should contain az fulfillment services as it only will serve local clients.
As far as getting in touch with companies which need these services smile at the people in the post office and try and find out. You could similarly try other companies which have logistic services clearly explaining your purpose. You could possibly drop a handout at the logistic companies if they are not cooperative.
You could try and find out through companies selling packaging material also about their clients. Obviously you`ll get a long list, but you know you want someone who is not large.
Best.
This just proves that az fulfillment is a growing business with a growing need, especially on a local level.  Smaller warehouses are becoming ever more important because people want the good customer service of a smaller business, but the ability to save money and space by outsourcing to someone with the extra space or a ware house.
